How the Apricus Pump Station Works
The pump station is installed on the
circulation line between the collector and the storage
tank. Both flow and return lines pass through the pump
station, enabling dual temperature readings.
The diagram below shows the most simple configuration. A
single coil storage tank, which may be boosted by an
electric element. Alternatively this tank can act as a
solar pre-heat tank, with the Hot Out feeding the inlet of
a second gas or electric boosted hot water tank.
The diagram below shows the pump station with the front
removed to reveal the internal components. The Sentinel
Controller is shown positioned to the side, but in fact it
is mounted into the front of the pump station.
